Basin Mixers

About

Basin Mixers and Basin Tap Sets Your basin tap gets used more than anything else in the bathroom, so it pays to match it to the basin, the vanity and the way your household uses it. This collection covers single-lever basin mixers, two-handle basin sets and wall-mounted basin mixers from Modern National and Linkware. Match the spout height to your basin This is the most important choice. A standard or short basin mixer, like the Modern National Nova, Kiama, Cascade or Bordeaux basin mixer, or the Linkware Gabe short basin mixer, suits inset, semi-recessed and under-counter basins that sit at or below the benchtop. Counter-top basins sit higher, so they need a high rise mixer to reach over the rim. Options include the Gabe high rise mixer in nine finishes, the Nova and Kiama high rise mixers, and the Montpellier gooseneck or shepherd's crook high rise mixers for a period look. Mid rise mixers, like the Nova and Star Mini mid rise, sit in between and suit shallower bowls. For more help, read how to match bathroom taps to your vanity . Wall-mounted basin mixers Mounting the mixer on the wall frees up the benchtop and makes cleaning easier. It's a favourite with counter-top basins. Choose from the Linkware Gabe wall mixer in ten finishes, the Gabe Leva wall mixer, or the marine-grade Elle 316 wall mixer. Wall mixers need the plumbing in the wall, so they're best planned as part of a renovation. Two-handle basin sets Prefer separate hot and cold? Linkware offers Kirra, Kirra Plus, Sabine, Liberty, Entice and Loui basin sets, all in chrome. Modern National has the Bordeaux and Montpellier basin sets for traditional bathrooms, plus the Ryker 1/4 turn basin set.
