Kayaks, Paddlers, and Paddling: This is what Jackson Kayak is about. In 2003, Jackson Kayak (JK) was founded by whitewater paddlers Eric Jackson, Tony Lunt, and David Knight in Sparta, Tennessee. JK has about 120 employees and manufactures products for whitewater, recreational paddling, touring, fishing, accessories, clothing, and even do custom manufacturing for playgrounds, other kayak companies, and more. They are a very altruistic/ideal focused group of people with quality, innovation, and “leaving the world a better place” as the core. After almost 20 years, JK remains a small-town, family run business and focuses on keeping their company i nnovative, inclusive, accessible and community driven.
