Aazol's Range of Happy Memory Inducing Maharashtrian Papads Do you remember our mothers and grandmothers making papads in the scorching summer heat during the summer holidays and putting them out to dry in the sun? It was a tedious job, but you remember how the whole family pitched in and made it so much fun? Even we as kids would help in our own little ways like swatting flies and birds away or making sure that the papads didn’t fly away in the breeze. Such happy times! Even today our SHGs make Maharashtra’s most authentic papads with traditional recipes in the same way as we remember from our childhood. We enjoy a mixed batch of these papads with our everyday meals and the variety keeps us asking for more. You can fry them or microwave them if you prefer, for a healthier version. You can also get creative and have them as 4:00 pm snacks with dips or replace the papdi with homemade papads in your chaat. Aaji's Favourite Papads come from our SHG in Konkan. Eating this fried papad with your meal will definitely make you appreciate its texture and stringy round shape. Made with whole-wheat batter and stretched into strings for days, these papads are a well-kept secret from the hinterlands of Maharashtra. The perfect disc of the concentric shaped papads goes well with any curry or dal as it is mildly sea
