Trained at the Glasgow School of Art and now based in London, Adam Ross approaches ceramics with the eye of a sculptor and the hand of a craftsman. Each piece begins on the wheel, but rarely ends there; Ross carves, slices and reshapes his forms while still in motion, leaving behind traces of process that feel both intentional and instinctive. The result ? T extured, sculptural ceramics that are quietly expressive: faceted vessels with soft angles, natural glazes and a tactile presence that invites use. At once grounded and gently off-kilter, his work celebrates the unexpected beauty that comes from letting materials lead the way.
