Seventy years and counting, this small Tuscan maker has rarely deviated from the classic silhouette of its handcrafted salt and pepper mills – for the simple reason it’s the most beautiful and functional around. The Chiarugi family still works with master artisans using European silver and hardwoods, and its embellished pieces keep alive the disappearing art of Florentine wood painting.
