National Reso-Phonic Resonator Guitars National Reso-Phonic has been hand-building resonator guitars in California since the 1920s design tradition was revived in 1988, using spun metal cones and bodies to produce the biting, cutting tone heard across blues, bluegrass and Hawaiian slide playing. Acoustic Centre stocks National's single cone and tricone resonators, along with National-branded pickups, slides and picks.
