A higher amp rating charges faster; a lower one suits slow maintenance charging. Jumper leads: choose the rating to suit the vehicles you work on, with the heavier 480 amp lead for larger engines. Quick connectors: Anderson-style connectors are mirrored, so any two of the same rating plug together. Match the rating to your cable size and the current your system draws, and fit the matching cover to keep the terminals clean and protected. Always check the data sheet: voltage, current rating and compatibility differ between products, so check the product page or data sheet before you buy.
