How they work Tracer units use a powerful LED/laser (and/or sensor-driven illumination) to light up special tracer BBs as they pass through the module, making the round's flight visible in low-light conditions. Most Acetech units are optimised for green tracer BBs and can also work with compatible water/gel BBs on specific models. This lets you follow impacts, correct aim in real time and add dramatic visual effects to night games. Main product types & features Blaster / pistol-sized tracers — compact units with simulated muzzle-flash (flame) modes and a selectable tracer-only mode for pistols and short barrels. Many include an intelligent power-saving wake function and long battery life. Brighter / Brighter-C / CS units — high-output compact tracers (up to ~35 RPS) designed for rifles; typically M14 CCW female threads with adapters to M11/CW for pistols.
