Brake pads come in many compounds. Black - Standard compound for all styles of riding, give modulated braking with low noise Clear - Ultra tacky compound perfect for tricks and stalls due to their softer compound gripping the wheel better. However, they are much noisier for general riding when dragging the brakes and are mostly for locking up the back wheel.
