Universal Communicators

The modules found in this section are universal communicators, so they will work with pretty much any alarm system out there in some capacity. Many of these universal communicators use dial capture, meaning they read the data coming out of your system's phone line terminals to forward the signal. Certain communicators, like the Uplinks, also offer input triggers that allow them to report a basic burglary or fire signal by merely receiving power from the unit they are connected to. Check each device's product page to see what services they require to operate. The first communicators in this section are the Alula BAT communicators. These Universal communicators use dial capture to read the signals coming from your alarm system's phone line terminals and forward them to a Central Station . The Alula BAT communicators also offer integration and remote interactive features to certain alarm systems that they are compatible with, like the DSC PowerSeries and Honeywell Vista. The Alula BAT-Connect offers dual-path communication using 4G LTE, Ethernet, and/or Wifi. The Alula BAT Mini AV is a dual-path communicator; however, it communicates via dual-SIM 4G LTE and Wi-Fi only. Following that, we also carry the Uplink universal communicators. The Uplink communicators are quite unique in that they offer options for both dial capture as well as input triggers for reporting to a Central Station. The Uplink 5500M offers 4 independent inputs, allowing up to 4 different devices, or triggers, to prompt the unit to send an alarm signal. These inputs, when used with an alarm system's bell circuit, are also able to read the voltage coming from the panel and tell whether a burglary signal or a fire signal needs to be sent. In addition, the Uplink 5530M features both dial capture and 2 digital inputs for sending alarm signals.
