Glock built the 47 to be the modular duty pistol, a full-size 9mm born for Customs and Border Protection, optics-ready out of the box, and engineered to share parts and holsters across the G17, G19, and G45. Carry one and you are usually carrying it loaded for work: a red dot on the slide, a light on the rail, and a draw that has to clear both without snagging or slowing down. The holster is what decides whether a G47 rides secure on a duty belt, disappears under a jacket off duty, or ends up in a drawer because it prints.
