TTB Approved Padlocks

The padlocks listed below are approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). The TTB requires that padlocks used in distilled spirits plants meet the following specifications: body width: minimum of 2" shackle: case hardened steel, heel and toe locking, minimum diameter of 1/4" cylinder: 5-pin, key retaining (key cannot be removed when the padlock is unlocked) identification : Keyed differently (KD) padlocks require matching serial numbers stamped on the key and padlock body and must not include key bitting information.
