How to Choose the Right Coffee Server Finding the right server is simple – it's all about matching the size to your brew. 1. Understanding the Sizing System The most common sizing comes from Hario's V60 ecosystem, which is used as an industry standard. 01 Size (approx. 300-360ml): Perfect for brewing 1 or 2 cups of coffee. This server is the ideal partner for an 01 size V60 dripper. 02 Size (approx. 600ml): The most popular size, designed for brewing 2 to 4 cups. It pairs perfectly with an 02 size V60 dripper. 03 Size (approx. 800ml-1L): The largest size, ideal for brewing for a group or making a larger batch to enjoy throughout the morning. 2. Dripper Compatibility While servers are branded, they are highly compatible. A Hario V60 server will work perfectly with a Kalita Wave dripper, and vice versa. The most important thing is to match the size of your dripper (01, 02) to a server of the same size or larger to ensure you have enough capacity.
