Alpha Industries has been making men’s parka coats for more than 60 years—in fact, its first government contract was for the N-3B parka, worn by U.S. Air Force crew members in the most extreme cold weather conditions. The N-3B was followed by the N-2B parka, designed for Air Force pilots with a shorter fit for ease of movement. Both parkas are notable for their weatherproof nylon outer shells, warm inner linings, and faux fur-lined hoods.
