Born out of motorsport's most infamous grudge, the Ford GT40 became one of the defining competition cars of the twentieth century. Conceived to challenge for victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it achieved a level of success few racing cars have ever matched, claiming victories at Daytona, Sebring and four consecutive wins at Le Mans between 1966 and 1969 to secure its place among motorsport's greatest icons. Through this collection, our artist in residence, Alan Thornton, offers a distinctive artistic interpretation of the GT40, celebrating the form, character and enduring legacy of one of the most influential racing cars ever created through a series of original and limited-edition works.
