Wood Finish Options For a smooth, easy-care surface, clear satin polyurethane is a strong choice, especially on walnut. It gives the wood a protective topcoat with a soft sheen, helping the bench stand up to daily use, moisture, and frequent contact. For a more natural, matte appearance, Rubio Monocoat offers a penetrating oil finish that bonds into the wood fibers.
