About
Oralite 5300 is an engineering-grade retro-reflective vinyl built for high-visibility signage, safety markings, and fleet applications. It meets MUTCD requirements and conforms to ASTM D 4956 Type I, Class 1 retroreflective sheeting specifications, making it a reliable choice for traffic, guidance, warning, and information signs that have to perform in low-light and nighttime conditions. The clear, solvent-based permanent adhesive bonds securely to glass, metal, and rigid plastic, holding up to outdoor exposure with a 7-year durability rating. At 3.5 mil thickness with an 89# PE-coated silicone release liner, Oralite 5300 weeds cleanly and feeds reliably through plotters, making it well-suited for cut decals, reflective lettering, numbers, and symbols. Compatible with screen printing and thermal transfer, Oralite 5300 is the practical choice for sign makers, municipalities, safety apparel producers, and fleet markers. It also works well for personal projects where visibility matters, such as bike helmets, mailboxes, and trailer markings.
