​ All Types Pot magnets (also known as Capped or Holding magnets) are encased in steel, rubber or plastic and feature a hole, internal thread, external boss or removable hook in the centre of the magnet. These fittings allow the magnet to easily be attached to your design. They also provide an easy, non-destructive way to suspend objects or attach them to metal. Pot magnets are magnetic on one surface only. This type of design prevents the magnetic field from spreading, and hence other items or machine parts in the vicinity of the pot magnets do not become magnetised.
