Shower Mixer Taps Shower Mixers FAQs What is the difference between wall mixers and wall mixers with diverters? Wall mixers have a single output that mixers hot and hot water and releases water at the set temperature whereas diverter mixers not on does the same but allows you to divert the mixer water between two outputs i.e. between a shower head and the shower rail. A diverter is needed when you have more than 1 outlet in the shower. Shower systems however have built-in diverters and only require the wall mixer. What is the difference between using wall top assemblies and wall mixer ? Wall top assemblies feature a separate hot and cold handle whereas wall mixers combine the hot and cold to our handle. In essence the main difference lies in the ease of controlling the temperature. This depends on your aesthetic preference. What considerations are necessary for the spacing and height of Shower Mixers during installation? Correct spacing and height are crucial for ergonomic comfort and practical use. Consider the height of the users, the size and depth of the sink or basin, and the specific tasks the tap will be used for. Can the diverters in Wall Mixers accommodate more than two water outlets? While most residential diverters handle two outlets, there are specialized diverters available that can manage more, but not available on our website. Please contact our team for more information. When is the diverter used is there a lag with time and temperature? It generally takes a split second for the water to be diverted from one outlet to another, but it should not alter the temperature at all.
