The Yonex Duora Badminton Rackets in our opinion at Badminton HQ are some of the most underrated top quality badminton rackets available. They feature truly unique technology and concepts not used by any other brand or range of rackets around. The word “Duora” refers to “Dual Frame” and the Dual Optimum System used in the frames concept build. Most frames are designed in a 1 dimensional way on both sides for equal feel, balance and effect of shot on both sides, however the Duora rackets have been made on 1 side of stability and on the other side for aerodynamic speed. Why is the racket made this way? Well it’s due to the way we hit our forehand and backhand shots differently, and therefore the need to hold and execute shots in different ways. The technology and concept of the Duora rackets are ground-breaking in the way the frame has been designed. So what makes it so good? The frame construction provides a standard “box” shape on 1 side, this helps achieve a sharper cutting edge on the reverse side. This enables faster, more powerful swing speed for backhand shots, whilst the forehand side provides strength, power and stability. The rackets are also visually designed in a very unique way so that you can hold your racket in your hand there’s 2 colors, and each color for each way you hold the racket. This way you know which side is your forehand or backhand side to hold the racket. Our opinion of these rackets are that they offer the best of both worlds situation, allowing you to turn defence rally situations into attack.
