Rectangle Tiles

About

There is something effortlessly considered about a rectangle tile. Laid stacked, staggered, or in a classic herringbone, they add rhythm and structure to a space in a way a plain square simply cannot manage. Rectangle is a format rather than a material, covering everything from small metro brick tiles through to large flagstone formats. One useful trick worth knowing: lay rectangle tiles vertically to make a ceiling feel higher, or horizontally to make a room feel wider. Laid lengthways along a floor, they draw the eye and create real movement through a space. From glossy metros to soft, chalky handmade looks, this is a go-to format for walls and floors that need a little edge. A sample laid out in your own light is always worth the wait before committing to a full room.
