A living finish is an unsealed surface that naturally changes over time , developing a unique patina as it reacts to air, moisture, and touch. This aging process highlights the authentic character of the material. At Barclay, Copper and Bamboo are our only living finishes. All other finishes are sealed to maintain long-term consistency in color and sheen. Copper will naturally oxidize and develop a rich patina that deepens over time. Bamboo , being an organic material, will show subtle changes in tone and texture depending on use and environment. 3. How should I clean and maintain my Barclay Products?
