The 560 is the original Gravity-Fed charcoal bbq from Masterbuilt. Charcoal sits in the side hopper and a fan blows the heated air into the cooking chamber. You control the temperature manually or remotely with an App, and the fan kicks in and out as required to regulate the airflow and hence the temperature. Sounds complicated, but it is really simple and effective - all good charcoal barbecues rely on airflow control. So, you have the controllability of a wood pellet grill or a gas bbq, but the taste of charcoal cooking!
