Challenge 4 Bolt Flange bearing units consist of a housing with 4 radial holes for mounting and a ball bearing inserted within the centre of the housing. Flange bearings are designed to be mounted against a horizontal or vertical face/bulkhead etc. The housing is manufactured from cast iron with the assembly suitable for low torque applications. Two types of flanged bearing units are available; normal duty and medium duty. Accommodated shaft diameters range from 20mm – 3/4 inch up to 80mm – 3 inch
