Come Undone is a group exhibition inspired by the experiences felt by the viewer when they see a piece they love for the first time. This show has been guest curated by Kylie Dexter who is an artist and former Deputy Editor of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine. For this show, Kylie has encouraged the artists to create a meaningful work, true to them, that evokes a feeling of connection on a personal level between the artist and the audience. Opening reception: Saturday, November 2nd, from 6–9 pm. Free entry. Some of the artists will be in attendance. This exhibition runs from November 3rd to November 24th, alongside Ben Howe's solo show, Leviathan . As an avid art collector, Kylie feels that art is a relationship. The artist and the audience become linked through their stories and the works become records of times in the lives of both the artist and the individual who has been drawn to that particular piece. There is an energy that exists in these representations, beyond what is visually perceived. Art is a gift to give, to inspire and ignite, to transcend and connect our unspoken fears and dreams; a shared understanding. Art is the invisible thread that births creativity and energy in us all. 10% of all sold pieces will be donated to the artists charity of choice.
