About

Gas shut-off valves for safe, code-friendly installs and service. Build clean natural gas or propane runs with full-port ball valves, appliance shut-offs, key valves for fireplaces, and the fittings to make solid transitions to connectors, regulators, and rigid pipe. Shop by need Inline ball valves: full-port 1/2", 3/4", 1" NPT in straight or 90° patterns (CSA-listed for NG/LP) Appliance shut-offs: flare x MIP/FIP and NPT x NPT for ranges, dryers, water heaters (accessible, quarter-turn) Key/fireplace valves: straight and angle key valves with trim kits/escutcheons Transition & service: union ball valves, flare adapters, and flex-connector kits (valve + connector) Quick choosing guide Confirm connection & size: match threads (NPT vs flare) and line size (common 1/2", 3/4"). Flare ends seal metal-to-metal—no tape/dope on the flare seat. Pick the valve type: inline ball for main and branch shut-offs; appliance valves at each fixture; key valves where a recessed control is desired. Check ratings: choose valves listed for NG/LP with appropriate pressure/temperature specs; full-port helps maintain flow. Placement & code: locate shut-offs in the same room and accessible (typical within 6 ft of the appliance—verify local code). Add a sediment trap where required. Seal & test: use gas-rated thread sealant or PTFE on NPT threads only; never on flare seats. Leak-test all joints with an approved solution before service.
