About

These are streamers that are extended in length. Intruders typically have an extended body and use wire or braided line to attach a hook that is at the rear of the fly. This allows for a smaller hook with a larger size on the fly body. Tandem flies always have two hooks "in tandem". One in front of the other. Articulated flies always have a hook at the rear, and have a hinge or wire in the middle to allow for articulated movement. All the flies here have either a trailer hook or two tandem hooks. Note that many of these patterns are tied for winter steelhead or Chinook salmon on extra strong hooks.
