About
Orbea are a Basque bike maker with roots going back to 1840, and the brand's approach to electric bikes is refreshingly clear-headed: pick the right motor for the job, keep the weight low and central, and make sure the bike still rides like a bike. That means no single drive system across the range. You will find DJI Avinox, Bosch, Shimano, TQ and Mahle motors here, each chosen because it suits the bike it sits in rather than because of a supply deal. The result is one of the broadest e-bike line-ups on the market, from 170mm full-power enduro machines to lightweight trail bikes that feel almost analogue, plus e-gravel, e-road and city bikes. Nearly every model can be personalised through Orbea's MyO programme, so you can choose your own colours and finish, and frames are covered by a lifetime warranty. Electric mountain bikes The e-MTB range splits neatly into two camps. Full-power bikes (Wild) give you maximum torque and battery capacity for big days and repeat laps. Lightweight bikes (Rise, Rallon RS) trade outright power for a lower weight and a more natural ride feel, so they handle much closer to a normal mountain bike. Neither is better, they just suit different riders and different trails. Wild LT The long-travel flagship. 170mm front and rear on an OMR carbon or alloy chassis, with suspension kinematics developed alongside the Rallon race bike. The headline is the DJI Avinox M2S motor: up to 130Nm of torque (150Nm in Superboost) and 750W of power, with an 800Wh battery as standard or a lighter 600Wh option. Available in full 29in or mullet, each with its own dedicated linkage so the geometry stays right, and complete builds start from under 21kg. This is the one for enduro riders and anyone who wants a bike that climbs anything and descends like a gravity bike. Wild TR The trail-focused Wild. 150mm of travel front and rear, built around the same braced frame, and powered by Bosch's Gen 5 Performance Line CX motor with up to 750W and 120Nm. Battery options a
