Swarovski rivets are decorative crystal fasteners combining a genuine Swarovski Xilion Chaton crystal with a metal rivet setting, designed for permanent attachment to leather, denim, thick woven fabric and accessories. Unlike flatback crystals which are bonded using adhesive or heat, rivets are mechanically attached by pushing the rivet post through the material and securing the back piece, creating a permanent, adhesive-free crystal embellishment that cannot be pulled away from the material without cutting. Each Swarovski rivet consists of two components: a front piece containing the crystal set in a metal casing and a back piece that locks onto the rivet post on the reverse of the material.
