Electric, hydraulic or self leveling Three systems, three reasons to pick one. Lenco and Sierra run electric actuators, the simpler install because there is no pump or hydraulic line to route. Bennett Sport kits are hydraulic, with the pump under the deck and a Euro rocker or all-in-one control at the helm. Nauticus Smart Tab, Mobster and ProTroller are self leveling and need no wiring. Tab size follows transom width and hull type, not preference, so read the kit size (9 x 9, 10 x 12, 12 x 18, 18 x 14, 24 x 14) against the boat. If you are replacing a hydraulic system with holes already in the transom, the Lenco to Bennett conversion kit saves patching and refairing.
