Beatrix Potter is one of the most beloved authors of children's literature, best known for her charming tales of animals and their adventures. Born in London in 1866, Potter was raised in a privileged household and enjoyed a comfortable life. However, her childhood was marred by illness, and she spent much of her time at home, where she developed a love of nature and drawing. Potter's artistic talent was evident from a young age, and she began to create her own illustrations and stories as a child.
