Hand Towel Holder

About

A hand towel holder is a small fixture near the basin, made to hold one hand towel within easy reach. You'll find three common types: Bar or rail style : a short straight bar (often 300 to 350mm) mounted on wall brackets. Good for folding a towel over. Ring style : a circular loop that holds a towel bunched or draped through the middle. Suits tighter spaces. Holder with plate : a bar fixed to a decorative round or square wall plate, giving a cleaner, more finished look. If you need a larger rail for bath towels, check bathroom towel rails instead. Choosing a finish Finish is the main decision once you've picked a style. Match it to your tapware and other bathroom hardware, not just the vanity. Chrome : the standard choice, works with almost any tapware. Matte black : a strong contrast look, popular in modern bathrooms. See the full range in black towel rails . Brushed nickel : softer than chrome, hides water spots better. Browse more in bathroom nickel towel rails . Brushed gold or brass : a warmer, premium look. Tip : buy your tapware and towel holder from the same range where possible. Finishes like "matte black" or "brushed nickel" can look slightly different between brands. Mounting and sizing Most hand towel holders here are wall mounted with concealed or exposed fixing screws. Before you buy: Check the fixing centres (the distance between screw holes) against your wall space. Confirm whether the mounting plate is round or square, this affects the look, not the function. Allow clearance below for the towel to hang without touching the vanity or floor. If you're tiling or renovating, mark the mounting height before tiles go up, generally 750 to 900mm from the floor.
