The Lamy AL-star fountain pen inherits the classic design of the Lamy Safari series. The pen body is armoured with anodised aluminium in a matte finish. The high-quality aluminium body continues Safari's lightweight and robustness. The transparent ergonomic grip reveals the inner structure of the ink feed. It also features an ink window on the side of the body, showing how much ink is left in the cartridge. The chrome-plated spring metal clip on its cap is easy to attach to pockets or notebooks. The sturdy stainless-steel nib is interchangeable to fit different writing needs. The fountain pen can be refilled with a Lamy T10 ink cartridge or a Z28 ink converter.
