FOR TERRARIUM CARE TIPS, SEE BELOW! Growing carnivorous plants in a terrarium is a beautiful way to display them; many will enjoy the increased humidity and grow lights! We don’t recommend starting with a planted in terrarium as mixing different genera of carnivorous plants, in a planted in setting, is very nuanced and complicated. They need very high light, good airflow and lots of bugs (or Maxsea fertilizer applied every other week) but they can be grown in terrariums if you stick to shorter grower Sarracenia , have high light (10-12 hour daylights about 8-10” from the plants depending on the light), and you remove them to provide a chilly winter dormancy. You can skip dormancy 1-2 years but eventually the plants will start to do poorly and die.
