About
A breaker you can reset beats a fuse you have to carry spares for. Surface-mount DC breakers from 20A up sit on the accessible side of a build, so an overload on the fridge circuit is a switch you flick rather than a fuse you hunt for at dusk. Two-pole MCBs rated to 500V DC cover rooftop solar strings, where an AC breaker is the wrong tool. An isolator is the switch that makes the rest safe to work on. Battery switches and isolation switches let you kill the whole system before you touch it, and keep a parked van from flattening its auxiliary bank over a month in the driveway. Push-button switch panels in 3, 4 and 6-way are here for the dash end of the job.
