MC4 & Solar Connectors

MC4 is the standard on the panel end, Anderson is the standard on the van end. Which means most solar jobs need an adapter somewhere, and the ones here are made up rather than assembled in a caravan park at dusk. Male and female pairs in 4mm² and 6mm², extension leads from 600mm to 5m, and MC4-to-ring-terminal tails for wiring straight to a controller. Cable size matters more than length on a roof run. A 6mm² lead carries a 300W array with room to spare where 4mm² starts giving voltage back to the weather. Every listing states the conductor size so you are choosing on the number that decides the result.
