Royal Canin Puppy Food

About

Royal Canin splits puppy food by expected adult weight , not current weight, because growth rate is what changes the requirement. A Mini puppy finishes growing at around 10 months. A Giant puppy is still developing at 18 to 24 months, and controlled calcium through that window is the point of a large breed puppy diet. Choose by adult size X-Small Puppy , adult weight under 4kg: 1.5kg bag Mini Puppy , adult weight 1 to 10kg: 800g, 2kg, 4kg and 8kg Medium Puppy , adult weight 11 to 25kg: 4kg and 15kg Maxi Puppy , adult weight 26 to 44kg: 4kg and 15kg Giant Puppy , adult weight 45kg and over: 3.5kg and 15kg, with Giant Junior (15kg) to follow it The 800g and 1.5kg bags are worth using first. A rejected 15kg bag is an expensive way to find out your puppy does not like it. Newborn to weaning Babydog Milk is a 400g powdered milk replacer, described by Royal Canin as a "Milk substitute up to 2 months old" and formulated without starch, since very young puppies do not yet produce enough enzyme to digest it. From around three weeks, Starter Mother & Baby takes over. It is fed to the mother in late pregnancy and lactation and to the litter as first solids, because the kibble rehydrates into a mush that puppies without adult teeth can eat. Stocked in Mini (4kg, 8kg), Medium (4kg), Maxi (15kg) and Giant (15kg).
