About
What Metals can I cut with a CNC Router? The following metals are commonly cut with a CNC Router: Aluminum Brass Copper Bronze The most important thing to be aware of is that all of those metals come in different alloys, and some of those alloys machine much better than others. There's a second batch of metals that are much more difficult to machine, and we don't recommend them for CNC Routers: Steel Stainless Steel Titanium While these can be cut with Shapeoko (and we've seen people do it), a CNC router is not rigid enough to cut these metals efficiently.
