"El Ocho" 8mm Cutters

Our El Ocho series of cutters use 8mm shanks so you get a strong cutter that you can push a little harder, and cut a little deeper than the standard 1/4" cutters. They're ideal for Shapeoko CNC Routers with either of our VFD spindles. Why Use These Cutters? We designed our El Ocho series of cutters to be a good compromise between strength from the larger diameter, while still being small enough to cut smaller features. The 8mm shank is small enough to fit into all ER-11, ER-16, and ER-20 spindles. Compatibility: We only recommend these cutters for use with a Shapeoko with one of our VFD spindles. We do not recommend using them with a Carbide Compact Router or a Nomad. To use these cutters, you'll need an 8mm collet for your spindle: ER-11 8mm Collet ER-16 8mm Collet ER-20 8mm Collet Speeds and feeds are included in Carbide Create CAD/CAM software 834 or later.
