About

Solid polyurethane wheels are often utilized in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial, and medical environments for their ability to smoothly handle continued exposure to chemicals, oils, or moisture without the concerns of tread separation. Where equipment is regularly washed down, mechanically bonded wheels can fail as moisture and UV exposure work to penetrate the tread and core bond. Manufactured of solid polyurethane, these wheels have no tread to fail and resist the elements, while providing high-capacity, smooth, and non-marking reliable mobility. They are often used with stainless steel rigs to prolong the caster life and prevent corrosion and eventual failure.
