The nails can be attached directly to the netting, however Catnets recommends "edging" your net beforehand with black rope. Our 1/5" black poly rope is weaved in and out of the edge of the net to create a neat and strong seam. The U-Nails are then placed over the rope and net and hammered into position. U-Nails are generally spaced at 1-2 per foot when used in conjunction with the edging rope. Simple, effective and affordable option for timber surfaces.
