About
United Composites builds rods and blanks in the USA using their proprietary Dual Helix construction: carbon fiber plies wound in opposing spirals that keep a blank round under heavy load and nearly impossible to crush or twist. Originally Graphite USA (GUSA), the company is now owned and run by Randy Penny, the longtime Seeker production manager whose team builds every rod in-house. CharkBait is UC's largest authorized dealer, and our shop is two blocks from their factory, so we stock more of the line than anyone. If something isn't on the shelf, most UC rods and blanks can be backordered.
