About
Marucci started as a wood bat company making bats for big leaguers out of a backyard shed, and wood is still the heart of the brand. The line runs from the Pro Cut (a pro-grade maple blank without the player name, the best value in wood) and Pro Model turns to the player models: AP5 (Albert Pujols), AM22 (Andrew McCutchen), Posey28, Lindy12 (Francisco Lindor), Freeman5, Rizz44 (Anthony Rizzo), Gley25 (Gleyber Torres), TVT (Trea Turner) and Bregman, plus the Gamer maple for the price-conscious and youth models in 26" to 30". Every Marucci wood bat is hand-split, bone-rubbed maple with a cupped end, and the Pro Model bats are the same wood and finish that goes to the Marucci pros. Lengths run 27" to 34"; prices run from about $55 for a closeout Gamer to $160 for a current pro model, and the closeout rack here is deep.
