USA Baseball bats carry the USA Bat stamp and are the required bat for Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, PONY, Dixie Youth and most recreational leagues for players 13 and under. The standard has been in force since 2018; it caps the barrel at 2 5/8" and tunes performance to be closer to wood, so the game plays the same for everyone. Drops run -13 to -5 with -10 and -11 the most common, and lengths from 24" to 32". Two things to know: a USA bat does not need a break-in period to be legal, and there is no drop rule in USA Bat play, so a lighter bat is fine if that is what your player swings best.
