About
Wood bats are legal in every league and required in pro ball, and a good one is the best training tool a hitter can own. We carry pro-grade maple, birch and ash from Rawlings (Big Stick Elite, Pro Preferred, Player Preferred, Adirondack), Marucci (Pro Cut, Pro Model and the player models: AP5, AM22, Posey28, Lindy12, Freeman5, Rizz44, TVT), Victus (Pro Reserve, JROD, Tatis, V-Cut), Old Hickory , Mizuno and Axe , plus the new torpedo bats and youth wood bats from 26" to 30". Maple is the hardest and the pro choice (about 80% of what we sell); birch flexes a little and is more forgiving off the label; ash is the traditional lightweight option. Bamboo and composite-wood bats last longest and are the pick for the cage. Prices run from about $40 for a Rawlings Adirondack to $200 for a Victus Pro Reserve, with prior-year models in closeout wood bats .
