About

Shop Larry Bird Trading Cards at Cherry Collectables Larry Bird is considered one of the greatest pure shooters of all time and helped define an era of basketball in the 1980s. A 3-time NBA champion, 2-time Finals MVP, and 3-time league MVP, he was a key part of the Celtics’ success during one of the most competitive stretches in league history. On top of that, he was the ultimate trash talker. Bird wasn't the most athletic player, but he was known for being extremely fundamentally sound, with an intelligent style that relied on sharp passing and smart positioning. He was always one step ahead of the game and his unbelievable passes are shown on just about every Larry Bird highlight reel. For collectors, there are plenty of options for Larry Bird trading cards, from the vintage Fleer and Hoops releases to the modern Prizm, Spectra, and Flawless sets. A standout, highly desirable card is his 1980 Topps Rookie Card, a 3-panel card shared with Magic Johnson and Julius Erving. Being vintage, it's incredibly rare, especially in higher grades. Another prized pick among collectors is the Larry Bird 1993 Hoops dual autograph card with Magic Johnson, but several more Larry Bird cards with various designs are available for more affordable prices.
