Line Sets

Line sets are the insulated copper refrigerant lines that connect your outdoor condenser to your indoor unit — and using the right one matters as much as the equipment itself. This collection includes MRCOOL No-Vac pre-charged line sets for ducted systems in 25, 35, and 50 foot lengths, quick-connect pre-charged line sets for MRCOOL GeoCool geothermal package units, and standard insulated flare line sets for wall-mount air handlers. Pre-charged line sets ship with refrigerant already inside and join with quick-connect couplers, so no vacuum pump or gauges are needed — just torque the fittings to spec. Standard flare line sets cost less but must be evacuated and charged by an HVAC technician during installation. To choose correctly, match three things to your system: the two pipe diameters (for example 1/4 and 3/8 inch, or 3/8 and 3/4 inch), the refrigerant type, and the length of the actual run with a little slack.
