About

“We’re going back to Honduras!” Christian Eiroa, one of the guys behind Asylum, comes from a successful career developing 90+ rated blends for Camacho brands in Honduras. The Honduran leaf is not easy to work with, though with an experienced hand like Eiroa on the case, we’re excited about Asylum 13 Authentic Corojo cigars. Here is a Honduran puro about as puro as they come. A blend of Honduran long-fillers power the stogie, while a Corojo seed wrapper holds the party together. The result is a balanced flavor ride from toast to the nub. The construction of Asylum 13 Authentic Corojo cigars is excellent. The oily leaf is great-looking milk chocolate brown with invisible seams and numerous small veins. Once burning, citrus, pepper, tobacco, and spice are all apparent. During the second third, the spice heads to the front, as does a cocoa note. The citrus is still in the background. This story continues to the end, with the citrus receding even more. Though the spice didn’t overwhelm, it was there and flavorful all the way through. Please enjoy Asylum 13 Authentic Corojo cigars at your leisure.
