Asylum 13 Connecticut cigars are a bit out of the typical Asylum playbook in that they favor a slight departure from their usual brand of full-strength sticks. That said, these smokes are no pushovers. The cigars are of excellent construction with minimal visible veins. The cold draw is sweet and earthy. Once lit, expect billowing clouds of creamy smoke laced with cedar, pepper, and earth. Into the second third and the cedar and earth are chugging along. The pepper is still around but nothing overbearing. Heading into the last third and this mild-medium stick is all about the balance.
