About

one of the oldest building materials, brick was first used thousands of years ago. in the years since, brick has evolved from architectural element to major design feature (the exact moment? the advent of the coveted exposed brick wall), and rightfully so. brick’s earthy, textural, and evocative character is being used in new, more design-forward ways, including thin brick (not to mention a universe of colors from the earth), elevating this everyday material to the downright extraordinary.
